FROM ROME
La Poggiolaia is simple to
reach. If you come from Rome you'll drive on the A1 Highway.
Exit at "Valdichiana
- Bettolle". Take the Motorway Bettolle-Siena (Siena
direction) and then the Motorway Siena-Firenze (Firenze
direction) and exit at "Poggibonsi". Follow the
signs for Certaldo - Empoli. After 15 Km (7 miles) you'll
find Certaldo.
Here follow the signs for Fiano. After 7 Km (4 miles) you
will find on the left side of the street a white sign with
the indication of "La Poggiolaia".
FROM FLORENCE
Take the Motorway "FI-PI-LI" (Firenze - Pisa -
Livorno) in Pisa direction. Exit at "Ginestra".
Follow the signs for Montespertoli till Baccaiano. On the
left side follow direction Certaldo. You'll arrive in the
hamlet of Fiano. Follow direction Certaldo. After 2 Km you
will find on the right side of the street a white sign with
the indication of "La Poggiolaia".
FROM PISA
Take the Motorway "FI-PI-LI" (Firenze - Pisa -
Livorno) in Firenze direction. Exit at "Ginestra".
Follow the signs for Montespertoli till Baccaiano. On the
left side follow direction Certaldo. You'll arrive in the
hamlet of Fiano. Follow direction Certaldo. After 2 Km you
will find on the right side of the street a white sign with
the indication of "La Poggiolaia".

TRAIN
Train connection Firenze-Empoli-Siena. The train stop is
Certaldo, 7 Km (4 miles) from the Villa.

you will find just few miles away from the wonders of Certaldo,
like San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florence, and get used
to the breathtaking Renaissance landscapes of Valdelsa, admired
in the paintings of Leonardo, Botticelli and Benozzo Gozzoli.
